Outdoor Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA’s) are Repeaters that extend the coverage area of a base station to RF shadow areas. These Repeaters are used to improve signal strength in urban and rural areas, remote villages, tunnels, highways,
mountainous areas and valleys. The units are built in NEMA 4 enclosures to withstand the outside environment. Most outdoor Repeaters can be equipped with an optional Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) and hybrid green power.
